How to play Rumbleverse in 2026
The game is back, but it needs a little help to wake up. Here's the whole trip, from download to your first elbow drop.

Make sure you have the game files
rVclient does not include Rumbleverse. You need your own copy. The video guide walks through what to do if you don't have it.

Using rVclientWhat you need
- A Windows PC, or Linux/Mac if you're fancy.
- Your own copy of Rumbleverse. rVclient does not include the game.
- About ten minutes and a tolerance for one SmartScreen popup.
Don't have the game anymore? The video guide covers what people do. rVclient restores the game; it doesn't hand out copies.

Download rVclient
Grab the latest stable build from rvclient.com. The zip has the launcher, Client.dll, and the rest of the kit.
Drop it in your game folder
Unzip it into your own copy of Rumbleverse's Win64 folder. It's the one with Rumbleverse.exe in it.
Run the setup
Double-click RVLauncherSetup.exe and say yes. If Windows throws a blue SmartScreen box, click More info, then Run anyway.
Pick a name
Open Settings, then Account, and choose your username. Moving from another PC? Use a move code.
Press Play
Pick a mode, hit Play, and let matchmaking do its thing.
Linux
The launcher runs natively. Download the AppImage, run the setup script, and pick your name.

The launcher is where you set your name, pick a mode, and press Play. It also lists the community servers and their ping.
- Pick a name: Open Settings, then Account, and choose your username. Moving from another PC? Use a move code.
- Press Play: Pick a mode, hit Play, and let matchmaking do its thing.
Your first match
The loop
Drop into Grapital City, grab weapons and perks, and be the last one standing. The city is small, the elbows are large.
Modes
SolosSolo. Just you and your bad decisions.
DuosTwo players. One shared excuse.
TriosThree players. Chaos with a buddy system.
SquadsFour players. A full group project.
PlaygroundNo pressure. Practice, explore, and test your luck.
Party up
Invite friends from the launcher. Parties stay together when the match starts.
Voice
rVclient adds proximity voice. Talk to people near you, yell at people on rooftops, and regret it immediately.
Controls
These are the default keyboard bindings. If yours are different, check Settings, then Keyboard.

The moves
- Strike
- A quick three-hit combo. Your bread and butter.
- Vicious
- Grab, throw, and generally ruin someone's day.
- Block
- Regenerate stamina and stop strikes. It does not stop a grab.
- Dash
- Close the distance or leave politely.
- Dodge
- A quick sidestep with a moment of invincibility.
- Climb
- Walls are just floors with attitude.
- Jump
- Space. Also your best friend during a dash.
- Super
- Fill the meter, press R, then hit someone with your finest move.
When things go wrong
Windows says the file is dangerous
It's a mod. Antivirus is dramatic. Allow it, or add the game folder to your exceptions.
The launcher won't update
Close the game, run the launcher as administrator, and try again. If it still sulks, reinstall the launcher.
I see no servers
Check the status page. If your region is empty, pick another one or come back in the evening.
The game crashes
Grab the log and ask in the rVclient Discord. The log lives in the launcher's folder.
